pause : dash

pause : dash is a digital book without a linear sequence. It investigates ways in which we read and compose language. It is a conversation, a changing memory, a conglomeration of fused text that initiates new narratives with overlaps and chance. Things are hidden and revealed in no specific order. It is an episode with incidental language and digital reading.

This project was conceived by Tricia Treacy while in residence at the American Academy of Rome and inspired by ongoing blending conversations during meals while on a 2017–18 Rome Prize fellowship. Conceptually, this first launch couples the notions of privacy : intrusion.
